'Step Back in Time' Tour -  Full Day Tour

 Itinerary - Tuesday to Friday
8:00am - Depart Outrigger Resort Hervey Bay.
8:40am - Arrive Maryborough - Home of the Queenslander.
8:45am - Visit Hans Kreuzen's Studio - Unique Artist - then enjoy the commentary and view from the air conditioned coach as we travel through the streets of Maryborough viewing our 'Home on Stilts'.
Morning tea at Wharf Street Precinct - 'Heritage Listed'.
10:00am - Relax on a 1 hour River Cruise on The Mary. Includes commentary and viewing some of Maryborough's magnificent prestigious homes.
Return to the coach to explore the history of our city and its historic buildings, St Paul's Cathedral, Charelcombe House, Eskdale House, to name a few.
11:30am - Visit Mavisbank built in 1874. Enjoy a guided tour of this historic dwelling and view the unique collection of memorabilia.
12:30pm - Wharf Street Precinct for lunch.
After lunch, spend an hour exploring the Museums, Art Gallery and Heritage Institute in Wharf Street or just enjoy a pleasant walk through the gardens. A time to feel the heartbeat of Maryborough, past and present, hear stories and history of our local community.
2:00pm - Back on the coach to view more homes and buildings.
2:30pm - We visit Brennan & Geraghty's Store and return to the past in this classic store that traded for over 100 years.
3:20pm - Arrive Rosehill Homestead - built 1859. Situated on the banks of the Mary River, this pioneering residence takes one back in time. After a tour of this home we have afternoon tea of wine tasting and cheeses from the Burnett Region.
4:20pm - Leave Rosehill and arrive back in Hervey Bay at approximately 5pm for sunset, ending an informative and enjoyable day.
